Just Taking A Break...

So, I just finished an intense session of Left For Dead 2. My God does that game scare the bejeezuz out of me. Possibly because I, along with many other of my family members do fear a zombie outbreak. It is a possibility, and in fact, when the new Swine Flu Vaccines were issued all I could think was: "Oh God, zombies, Zombies, ZOMBIES!". Damn my overactive, paranoid mind. Maybe I should prescribe myself some Ritalin?

The Weekend, t'was good. I finally got some good relaxation time, or at least more than I usually do. Lately I've been experimenting around with my recording equipment and trying to see what works well. How was the first recording you might ask? Well, to put it simply, it was an epic fail... as usual

See fellow musiceers, one of my most fatal problems with recording myself is the fact that I can never settle for anything less than perfection. But I also realize I can never truly get perfection without a 1000+ program. So I track, and I track, and I track again until my voice is so done that I can't sing anymore... Bad, I know. Anyways, I'm just going to let this blog be a reminder for me to stop being a damn perfectionist and to just go for it. Maybe then I'll have accomplished something worthwhile (recording wise).

Solo Sessions II

Wow, super tired...

Got back a while ago from one of the greatest open mic sessions in Vancouver. The Solo Sessions is a series of open mic sessions hosted by Studio Cloud 30 which showcases Vancouver's up and coming talent. The Man Who Stares At Phones

I spent a large portion of my time today battling a dry throat whilst making a series of phone calls to parents. Not the greatest combination of situations but I managed to get through it. The rest of my day was spent trying to stay awake and pay attention, which is something I'm rarely able to do. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the situation. I suppose I'll laugh, it'll make the passing days feel brighter. Currently working on English and Music Theory, or at least I like telling myself that. Honestly I haven't done a single thing. I just need someone to give me a kick in the ass.

Question For Reflection: How much of a procrastinator are you? What can you do to help organize and motivate yourself better in these situations?

Constant Let Downs

Hmmm, I wonder what this could be about? haha... Well, with the passing of recent events I can't help but feel that I've been caught in a rut. The execution of a couple of important aspects in my life has brought me terrible strife recently. My failures, and losses within the past two weeks has indefinitely left me crushed. It feels like I've hit rock bottom, and there's nothing I can do to get back up cause' my legs caught in seaweed. God... someone, save me.

No More Drama

Along with the pleasure of high school always come the oh so enjoyable drama. I personally hate it, it leaves me feeling horrible. But believe it or not, there are a select few who enjoy watching worlds burn. That's not to say that was so in this case, but I'm just saying. It's crazy how one small little thing can spiral into something so out of control. I've gotten over it, I just really wish everyone else would as well.

Been crazy busy with trying not to, but being unsuccessful at, failing. University applications and visits have also kept me on end. Oh, and to top it all off, the aforementioned drama. If there was ever a time for a break, now would be the time. Still working on content for the site. For now, information on my horrible days will have to do. I hope you all are doing better than me!

Give Me A Second...

As I try to figure out how to defibrilate this dying thing. Interesting information is required obviously, but what? Hmmm... Well, for now this'll have to do: BRAND NEW GLEE THIS WEDNESDAY!!!! Which is also remembrance day for those in Canadialand so please don't forget about that fellow Canadians =) I wanna' make a video to show my respect for those soldiers (past and present) who are sacrificing themselves for our freedom so look out for that... unless I be a lazy ass and not do it <- most likely to happen, hahaha!

Working on the new header design. I was tired of looking at my ugly mug, it was making me feel narcisistic. Instead I replaced it with the city which I love: Vancouver. Gotta' fix that header though. Blog Reborn!

Okay, so... it's been a while. How've ya' been? Did you lose weight? Oh how I love reunions. Anyways, due to some inspiration from my fellow graduating colleagues I thought what the hell, let's give this one more shot! Let's see if anyone ends up reading about me, haha.

What's happened for the past year? A LOT. So much I probably wouldn't be able to fit it in one post. But you all will be caught up, trust me. I promise to stay more informative from now on.
